What is a Will?

A Will is commonly known as a list of instructions that you leave for when you pass away, that tells your family and loved ones who gets what. It helps to ensure that your belongings and assets are distributed the way you want them to be.

Why do I need a Will?

Having a Will means your intentions are clear. If you pass away without a will, depending on the value of your assets, someone may have to apply to the Court to get permission to sort everything out. It also means that your estate could end up being distributed according to pre-set laws, meaning you have no say in who gets what.

This can be a lengthy and stressful process for your loved ones, particularly when they’re also dealing with your death. Having a Will in place means one less thing to worry about when you pass away.
