Rakesh has been in the financial services industry since 2005 and became a Financial Adviser in 2016. He’s previously worked with a large international insurer, and prior to co-founding NZOne, led a team of 15 insurance sales advisers. Rakesh specialises in personal insurance, business insurance, and home loans.

Rakesh holds the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), specialising in Life & Health Insurance, Residential Property Lending and Investments. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Economics); a Certificate of Proficiency in Data Analytics; and he is also a Post Gradutae Diploma in Planning and Management.

“I enjoy a game of badminton on the weekend, and watching the cricket is one of my favourite ways to unwind. I’m lucky enough to have two wonderful daughters, and we recently adopted our Labrador Coco (she’s the real head of the household!). My family loves to travel, and we often spend our holidays exploring New Zealand.”
